We will work with you to provide the best workshop experience possible. Our trainings work with your schedule-- from 1 hour to multiple-days to ongoing sessions split over a longer time frame. Workshops over several days allow for greater participant reflection, the ability to put theory to practice, and sustained engagement that are more likely to lead to transformation. Workshops are offered both as in-person and online sessions.

 

Executive Coaching Seminar

Many staff members leave traditional trainings understanding new DEI terms but unsure how to implement them within their day to day tasks.

The Awareness Institute will provide a year of executive coaching for a limited group of staff invested in DEI. For 90 minutes a month, the group will engage with a variety of diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.  The seminar will introduce and solidify concrete skills for creating and managing an inclusive workplace. In addition, group members will receive support and suggestions for addressing real-time issues occurring on their teams.

Moderating Difficult Discussions

If there’s been an incident or conflict around social identities, the best path to resolution can be a moderated discussion with experts. We create a respectful dialogue space where relevant issues can be explored and addressed without blaming or shaming.  After each discussion, recommendations and resources are provided to help participants move forward on the issue.

The Awareness Institute offers customized DEI trainings and follow-up coaching. Research shows that one-size-fits-all trainings fail to create lasting change. Therefore we collaborate with you to design your training and follow-up services. With follow-up support, your team will be set up for success.
